An Irish Laddie and His Bath Luve

All the way from Ireland, Jessica O'Callaghan wrote to say how much her son, Jack, enjoys his Bath Luve.

"I was sent your product as a gift and it is truly the BEST gift I have gotten thus far! My son, Jack, does not like to be cold and this solved all of our bath problems. Thank you again for your ingenious product, I know personally I would love to give Bath Luve as a gift to all of my expectant mother friends."

Thanks Jessica! I'm so happy the Bath Luve helps Jack (and you!) enjoy bath time.

Win a free Bath Luve!

Danielle, who blogs at gettingkindacrunchy.com is offering a free Bath Luve in a giveaway which ends on Aug. 3. While Danielle's kids are older now, she writes about how she wishes she would have had a Bath Luve when they were infants.

"No more cold and miserable babies screaming at you while you clean them as fast as you can. Everyone had always told me a bedtime bath routine would save my life and I always laughed at them. Now, I feel like bath time with my next baby will be amazing. I tried this on Violet and she loved it! She likes draping it over her shoulders like a cape while screaming "QUACK". As you can tell, we were sent the ducky Bath Luve! Honestly this idea is so simple, yet so genius and I feel like every Mom should have one of these! They work much better than a little washcloth that floats right off of them!"

Another Happy Little Customer!

Doesn't Emma look happy? Emma's mommy, Kim, blogs at chubbycheeksthinks.blogspot.com and tried out the Bath Luve to let other moms and babies know the scoop. Here's what Kim wrote:

"I love that I now have a way to keep Emma warm during her baths. The Bath Luve covers her very well to keep her nice and cozy though out the whole bath. I am a sucker for products that work well AND look adorable! As you may have noticed my poor children always have a camera in their faces and bath time is no exception! I love that the Bath Luve helps me keep Emma decent for her tubby pictures!I definitely think that every baby needs one of these and every soon to be mommy needs a Bath Luve on her registry!"

Thanks Kim and Emma! Keep enjoying those baths.

Before and After Bath Luve

Brooke, who blogs at www.bloomymommy.com, had great things to say about Bath Luve and sent these adorable photos of her son in the bath - before Bath Luve and after! What a great illustration of the benefits of Bath Luve and how it helps babies and parents enjoy bonding instead of enduring crying.

Brooke wrote:

"I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to fill the tub with too much water (just to be on the safe side) so I do worry about the rest of his body out of the water being cold. The Bath Luve solves that problem. After getting it wet with warm water it stayed nicely on his midsection and kept him warm during his bath, which made me happy."

Thanks Brooke. We wish you and your little one many happy bath times to come!

Great feedback from blogger and retail shopper

I love hearing from moms and dads who've discovered Bath Luve. Some find us online and others in the stores. Amber, who blogs at ambocullum.blogspot.com, receied a Bath Luve when her mother purchased one at Buy Buy Baby, one of the great retailers who carry our products. She liked it so much, she featured it on our web site and is offering one for a giveaway! Above is her little one, Bennett, content with his Bath Luve!

Blogger Jakell at smileadaygiveaways.blogspot.com borrowed her nephew to try out the Bath Luve. As you can see, he was all smiles!
Thanks to all the bloggers, moms and friends who are helping spread the word about Bath Luve. And remember, stores like Buy Buy Baby and Kohls offer baby registries so include a Bath Luve (or two! or three!) for the newest additions.l

Introducing Baby to the Big Tub

That first bath is a big step, and another big transition is when baby starts sitting up in the big tub. Bath Luve offers the same comfort and warmth for sitting babies as well -- making sure bath time remains a warm, fun part of the day. A big thank you to Nikki for sharing these photos of her son with the Bath Luve looking as cute as can be. Nikki shared these comments on her blog at dustinnikki.blogspot.com:

"He is older now so bath time has become a little easier. He still doesn't like it at first and when we used our Bath Luve, he warmed up to it much better than before. He wasn't shivering and was splashing in the water in no time. It was honestly a big difference from the last time he got a bath. I was glad that it made things easier because we also had to stop using his infant tub because he is too big for it and we had to put him in our tub."

She also has some great advice for using the Bath Luve with seated babies:

"Even though he is sitting in the tub, the Bath Luve still stayed in place really well. I have said it before, we love it. It really does make bath time easier and our little guy can relax a little. We can place the Luve on his front if we are washing his back and when we wash him in the front, we can simply move it to his back. He stays pretty warm this way! I believe that bath time should be as stress free as possible from the first time baby gets a bath. In my opinion, the Bath Luve reduces stress for babies and parents both!"

Baby's First Bath

New mom, Nancy, is chronicling the first year's of her baby boy's life at thekellynewlyweds.blogspot.com. I came across these precious photos of Luke's first bath, and Nancy kindly gave me permission to share them with you!

Here's what Nancy wrote:

"We found this treasure at Babies R Us when we were registering. It is a Bath Luve Frog, a specially shaped wash cloth to dip in warm water and cover baby to keep him warm when he's in the bath. We were lucky to get this item as a gift. It really works, and Luke is not at all cold in his bath!"

Mommy-to-be previews the Bath Luve

Blogger Vanessa is expecting her first baby, a boy, in August and took the time to preview the Bath Luve and review it on her blog.

She wrote:
"Not only are these products super cute, but I love that they will keep my little guy nice and toasty during bath time. As a mom-to-be of a boy, I can't tell you enough how excited I am about a product that will also act as a squirt-shield! So many of my mom friends have raved about this product and I can see why, definitely a must have on any baby registry."

My daughter's friend noticed a Bath Luve in a recent episode of MTV's 16 and Pregnant. I'm so happy to know that Jenelle has Frog Bath Luve to help welcome her little one. Here's a screen shot (a little grainy) of the crib, filled with shower gifts, including the Bath Luve. Check out the entire episode at:

I'll have to follow Jenelle's story - maybe we'll get to see her little one using the Bath Luve!

Spring brings new reviews and lots of baby showers!

Spring is definitely here finally! It's fun to open my inbox to find blog reviews from all over the country. Ethel in New Jersey, blogs at luvtosave.blogspot.com and recently tried the Bath Luve for her sweet daughter Emma.

"What I love about Bath Luve is that the size is perfect. It is not too big or small. It covers Emma's shoulder, chest, stomach and private area. And it still allows her to move her arms and legs. For the first time, she actually played with the water, splashing and kicking. I actually did not mind her staying longer in the water. It kept her warm and comfortable. I also like that is very soft."

Ethel and her family tried the "washcloth solution" for their older daughter, Olivia. She said the washcloth was too small. Her husband said "there has to be a better way." Thanks Ethel for saying there is a better way with Bath Luve!

Ethel says the Bath Luve is perfect for all those spring showers...we agree.

Bath Luve has a fan in the U.K.

I was so excited to hear from Fiona in the U.K. A U.S. friend of hers sent her a Bath Luve, and she sent an e-mail asking about ordering some for baby showers in England. In our correspondence, she sent this sweet picture of her little English Rose -- Darcy Rose. She's six weeks old and has been enjoying her baths. Fiona says her daughter shivered in the baths before Bath Luve. "But not anymore! She loves her Bath Luve!"

Thanks for the transatlantic message Fiona!

Another Bathing Beauty!

Thank you to Laura who blogs at newagemama.blogspot.com for her great review of the Bath Luve. Her daughter, Willow, got to try it out & both mom and baby enjoyed the experience!

"We received the Fishy Bath Luve, which is only one of several cute designs available. They are simple and fun to use. You just soak it in warm water and lay it across the baby's torso. Then you can wash their hair and get them clean with out them getting cold. Willow loved hers and really seemed to enjoy her bath for the first time since she came home from the hospital. Before Bath Luve, bath time was a time for constant crying and hysterics. Now she sits there calmly and even smiles sometimes. I can't imagine bath time with out it now that I have tried out the Bath Luve."

Two Luves are Better than One!

Happy Bath Luve customer Wendy sent me some precious photos of her little boy, Finn, along with a nice note.

"My son's bathtime has become something I really look forward to, and I know he loves it too. With his fish and froggy, he couldn't be happier. Not a tear anywhere! I am a writer and blogger, and I work in an office with 4 pregnant women at the moment, and I am spreading the word! Bath Luve is my go-to shower gift now! Thanks!

It's wonderful to have people take the time to send me these sweet pictures - it truly makes my day when I receive an e-mail like this! Thanks so much Wendy!

No more chills in Minnesota!

If a picture says a thousand words, these are priceless. Sarah, who blogs at http://www.minnesotamamasmusthaves.com/ posted these precious photos of her newborn, Aiden, both before and after the Bath Luve. Sarah wrote, "So Mr. Aiden wasn't a big fan of his first bath...but luckily we are the proud owners of a Bath Luve."

Another blog review!

Thank you to Jessica who blogs at winningmommys.blogspot.com. Jess gave Bath Luve a review and wrote she only wished she'd found one sooner!

"I remember when we first brought home our first born. His first month of me giving him baths was just awful...I knew there had to be a better way...The Bath Luve is genious!"

I'm so happy to be helping babies and their parents have more relaxing, fun bath times!

Following Your Passion

Melanie Conklin, a product designer from near New York City, wrote about the Momtreprenuers trend and how, especially in this economy, many moms are striking out on their own to replace their job or create new revenues for their families. Melanie sent me a note to use Bath Luve as an example -- of course I was happy to do so! I love encouraging new momtreprenuers on their journey!

One thing Melanie wrote which really hit home was "This mom took advantage of her experience as a consumer and it will most likely translate into success, unlike companies who enter markets with which they have no real connection. A lesson for the future of business = be true to your passions, for only then will you offer consumers a product that connects with theirs!"

It's true that my passion is for families and the quality time they spend together. It's amazing how rewarding it is to offer a product which helps parents and babies during the stressful times of bathing in the early months.

I wish all of you a Happy New Year! Pursue your dreams in 2010.
